I wish I could help you out. I have a pen of just Black Copper Marans, most from Whitmore Farms but they are laying sparsely right now. They have molted and are giving me one egg a day so far but the combs are bright red so I am hoping they will start laying like mad again like last fall.
I have a long list for my Blue Copper Marans but not so many wanting the Black Coppers.

Is there a certain blood line you are looking for?

For example.., Davis, Wade Jean, Grisham etc....

I have 7 flocks of good BCM.
At this time they are not laying much, due to rapid weather changes.
Midwest is very cold.
