WTB: Blue Copper Marans, maybe Blacks

Hi, Miss Deb, I too have Blue Copper Marans. And also purebred Black Copper Marans. Please let me know if you need more information. Blues are also Bev Davis origin and Blacks are from Wade Jeane line.....all are well feathered.

I'll probably be looking for either hatching eggs or chicks at the end of March...

One of the posters on here. AK-Bird-Brain (or something close to that) has my birds up in Alaska. Maybe she is near by you and you could get chicks. She had good results with my shipped eggs but has had a terrible time with most shipments. I packed hers in the craziest, thickest packing, shavings layer, inside a styrofoam shipper, with more shavings around it and thick layers of newspaper and all that packed firmly inside a larger cardboard box. She did pretty well with those eggs. Hatched more from that box than from all 156 eggs she had shipped up previously. If you want to do shipped eggs, I feel confident that I can get viable eggs to you. Maybe not in February, but maybe in April or May...

Yep, my birds are from Patty.

Though I only have 3 hens at the moment, and will be short on eggs for a while. I'm hatching all I can, but if you want a lot of eggs at once, I can guarantee Patty's packing job will get them here in one piece.
