I will have a trio that should be laying at the beginning of this season, but when they start laying, I'll have to see how fertility is and I have a few people on my list already, but I will have them for sale as 6 eggs for $10 - $12 plus shipping.

Wooo HOOO!!! He is DARK!!! I have two very dark hens, but the tom they hatched with had split wing so I sold him and the only tom I could get was a bit lighter, but "okay" still. I got two hens with the tom also, so I have four hens, one tom. The dark hens came from an APA judge and exhibitor/breeder Chris Maddalena. The other lighter ones were a cross of Whelp hatchery and Sandhill preservation. Tom is just starting to strut and go blue in the face and show off red snood the past few days. I should try to get pics but I don't want them to fly a way if I take them out front.

Oh I didn't know Chris had Bourbon Reds, he only had Narragansetts on his site.

Chris has all KINDS of stuff that isn't on his site. I think he kept this BR flock to small for too long though. Time for an outcross. In my infinite wisdom and decades of experience. NOT! But still, I think it's time for new blood here, which is why he got rid of them I think.
