As long as Jean doesn't have any eggs I'll chime in... I have an auction on e-bay as a buy it now. Didn't know anyone here was looking. Same name pasofinofarm.

Yes Margaret, only buffs in that pen. I have six hens and three pullets in there. They all have nice dark legs.

Sometimes we get birds that end up with very light legs, if you have ever owned wheatens or blue wheatens you will know what I am talking about.

I didn't keep any of my girls from last years hatch that had light legs, they went in to the laying facility.

My black and blue pens are set up also, but I haven't seen an egg from them in months.....

I hope to get my silvers, whites and wheatens and blue wheatens set up this weekend.

My auctions end on Fridays and I collect Friday - Monday and ship, if I don't get enough eggs I will ship on Tuesday. I send the best eggs too, my buffs don't lay very blue eggs (they're green), so I pick through them and send the best ones.

Hey pasofino! Have you hatched out those silver chicks yet? I only have two pullets, but if you don't end up with a rooster let me know and we'll get you some eggs or a started cockerel.

paso, are you interested in a trade? If not I will do the buy it now. I am interested in more than 6 eggs, is there a way you can sell more than 6?

I have marans, mixed ameraucana, and some cochins laying now.

Margaret

I have Golden Cuckoo and Cuckoo Marans myself.. but would love others... maybe Black Coppers? Whatcha got?

I think I could do a flat dozen eggs on the BW/Wheaten next week. If this auction comes down without a sale maybe even sooner. I had to take down the other auctions they were running me out of eggs... hatching season must have come early this year.

A lady ordered from me in MN. Right after I shipped I saw on the news they were predicting minus 40 degrees there... what a waste of good eggs...sooo sad!

The bator is done in a week... but I sure would take a started Silver cockeral off your hands and shorten up the time to breeding. My silver hens would be lonely but I turned them out with the Easter Eggers to eat bugs and that always cheers them up!
