WTB English Budgies,Parrotlet, other small parrot...Near NY, Con, Mass

I'm looking to purchase Large English Budgies from healthy stock. Preferably with in driving distance of the Tri state region (NY, Con, Mass) They don't need to be hand fed, tho I would pay more for that option. Id'e like to buy 2 pair & a male for my friends female. But I would certainly consider the purchase of a single bird of either sex. Did you try one of the Budgerigar clubs in the New England Area. There use to be one in RI and one in NJ and maybe one in NY. Don't know if the American Budgerigar Society (ABS) is still in existance but that would possibly be a place to check. Good luck they are very beautiful birds and nothing like the pet stock that is usually seen in the pet shops.
