WTB: hatching eggs from black bone , black meat chickens---not silkies

Looking for hatching eggs for black meat chickens---but not silkies.

I am not aware of any other chicken besides a Silkie that has black meat and bones. I could be wrong, though.

There's a few around but pretty rare. Not many people keep them in the US. Most are from Europe and Asia.

Hi Bill! I should have eggs available from dark skin / meat / bones LF come spring.
They are not a 'breed', but birds I bred here.

What did you mix to get the all black chicks? The look pretty cool.

I've mixed silkies with regular hens but yet to come up with all black that look like and are regular size chickens.

Let me know when eggs are available.

Hi! Got it and emailed you back. These actually *began* with a LF Naked Neck and a Silkie.

The only other truly black chicken I can think of, though EXTREMELY rare, are the Ayam Cemani. There's ONE person in the US who has a hen who's part Ayam, otherwise they're only found around the Indonesian area I believe.
