I'm in search of just a few (1-3) each of small ducklings, quail, and chicks. For trial period of raw food for dogs. Any breed, just healthy, ideally from organically fed and raised stock. Young meat-rabbits also desired. I can pick up in Polk county, Florida and surrounding areas.

your best bet would be to raise Coturnix quail on your own. I raise them up organically ( I find certified broiler starter feed works best) and could ship a covey (flock) that would be your breeders for future generations for this purpose. You could then hatch the eggs they lay and raise the chicks up for food, or you could just buy a bunch of eggs and incubate them and then keep a covey to make more eggs. They are full size in 6-8 weeks, hatch in 16 days and are pretty easy to care for. There is a lot of info here on them this link being the best IMO https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=102281

you
may ruffle some feathers looking for ducks or chickens for this purpose although there is nothing wrong with it. I think quail would be the easiest and most cost effective and the least time consuming.

good luck

ETA sorry just realized this was a trial period. if you cant find in your area local I could ship a box of them live or processed and frozen (they will be tagged though in accordance to NYS law) they are 100% organic well into the 3rd-5th generations depending on color.
