WTB nice rooster in Lawrence, Kansas area

Visiting my parents for a few days, and they are in need of a new rooster ASAP. Breed does not matter, but he does need to have a nice temperament.
The hens are needing to stay cooped up due to hawks in the area, and a rooster will allow them to be out and about.
They live near Lawrence, Kansas.
