I'm in love with Partridge Rocks and Gold-Laced Wyandottes, but I was too late in the season for Cackle to fulfill my chick order.

I'm wondering if anyone has fertile eggs of good quality birds they can sell.

Really, I'd take most any kind of Wyandottes.

Thanks

Have you tried Marti Poultry Farm, Nature Hatchery or Sandhill. Marti poultry have good quality birds and their website doesn't show sold out yet. They also have wyandottes.

Hi Becca,

I've got 8 great looking pullets that should start laying by Sept.

If that would be soon enough I could send some pics, & maybe do some trading.

Hi, Mike. What breed are your 8? I'm on the far eastern side of Ohio. Not sure it would be an easy meet and trade. A place like Dayton, OH, is 4 hours for me. Would depend on where you are in IN. Thanks.

Camalianus, I'll look into those 3. Thanks!

I was able to snag some PR eggs on ebay yesterday. So, I guess I'll be hatching those soon.

Have you tried the two hatcheries in OH. Meyers and Mt Healthy. I have some MT Healthy chicks here very good quality and very healthy. they have both those breeds so that would a good option.

Try Quail_Antwerp for some. Her eggs and shipping are just great! You won't be disappointed.

Many thanks and have a blessed day!

I believe Meyers is out for the year, but I do really like that hatchery.

QA lives near me, and I do have my eye on her BLRWs

, but I was going to try to build up my GLW flock before adding BLRW. She is already selling good eggs there. I wouldn't be competing locally if I bred GLW -- was my thinking.
