im looking for a breeder or hatchery that has rhode island white rose comb large fowl and/or rhode island red rose comb large fowl. hatching eggs, dayolds or breeding stock would work. these are rare and hard to find breeds. please let me know if you can help.

You're welcome

RIWs are a tough get, very very people have them, MandyH like I said and maybe one other person here on BYC have them and the Duane Urch has them as well. That's about everyone I know of with the RC RIRs.

RC RIRs are a bit easier to find, on BYC I know of MandyH, Chris09, Brick (?), and then I know of a show breeder Dick Horstman that has some nice ones, and there are several others on the RIR breed club forum.

Good luck finding some and please keep us posted on what you get, who you get them from, and your sucess rate with them, I will be looking into getting some soon as well of the RC RIWs, SQ RC RIRs, and SQ SC RIRs, to add to the 4 colors of Javas, SQ Barred Rocks, and Dominques for a heritage collection to work to preserve good quality birds from our old american heritage breeds.

I have hatching eggs for sale. I have my rosecombs running with my single combs so the hatch would be some of each. Here is a picture of one of my rosecomb roos. I started hatching in early March and fertility has been very good.

Also, Sandhill Preservation has RC RIR and RC RIW chicks for sale.
