Hello, I am looking for some Silver Grey Dorking chicks. I found eggs but my hatch didn't go so well. I only got 3 out of 20 to hatch

. I am looking for someone who has this breed and would be willing to ship. I am interested in purchasing about 10 chicks. If you have them please PM and let me know how much you charge. I live in East TN just outside of Knoxville.
Thank you,
David

I live in North Idaho and I'm wondering how the Silver Grey Dorkings would do in the winters here. I have RIR, Buff Orpington, Light Brahma, all hens and a Wyandotte rooster (total of 10 chickens) and they all did well through last winter. I'm interested in purchasing some Silver Grey Dorking chicks but want to make sure they will be okay in winter.

Thanks!
Nancy

the dorkings are very hardy. the only negative is that the males have large single combs that makes them more vulnerable to frost bitten combs.

I am out in Washington state and am interested in adding a few (3 to be exact) SGD to our little hen party. I see that most of the posts are from a while ago, but if anyone has fertile eggs or new chicks please send me a private message. Thanks!
