I've been getting lots of hits from Craigslist and flyers asking about what's for sale.

I got the BYC banner in the mail yesterday to hang at the swap. I'll have mix bantam cochins, veggies, herbs, a tractor coop, some barnwood "Egg For Sale" signs and maybe a couple smaller coops for $150 (used but nice)

Im also bringing northern bobwhites. I was planning on building a pen for them but, I need the room for all the juvies.

also bringing strawberyy plants, red raspberries and misc. planters

got my NPIP #122.... seems like an awfully low number lol.

My Buckeye chicks hatched and I have three of them, I also have 2 silkies from blue parents that look like they might be a blue and a splash. Because they will only be just over a week old, I don't want to bring them unless someone wants them. PM me if interested. I did mapquest and its just over a 5 hour drive for me. Do I get a prize for coming from the furthest distance? lol

Hi everyone this is my first go at this.I was shocked to see a swap taking place at my back yard.I will be there looking for birds or eggs to buy. Hopefully someone will have BLRW in standard breed and also BLCM or Wheaten Marans. Hope some one brings adult birds as well. If you would like to E-mail me you can. What kind of help do you need for the swap?

"Berkeleysprings" ...from BK has wheaten marans!!! He may be your neighbor! Pm him and see if he's got any to part with.

Faykoko, Im so glad you're making the trip. You will get to meet many great West Virginian BYCers. We always have a great time together and a few of them have become some of my dear friends

My buddy Jim is brining a canopy and many many many chicks from layers to fancy banties. He just got his NPIP too and is ready to rock!

Please everyone, bring your NPIP info and keep it handy in case the ag. guys come checking. ...gotta go dig mine up

If you are not npip, get there early because I cannot tell you how many people I've told about the free testing in the morning... I believe that is going to be a crazy line. Im glad the ag. dept. is sending two testers.

OK, so I guess I'm bringing a lot of roos, but I think I may bring one of my 3 week old Barnevelder roos to sell too, if anyone is interested let me know. This roo is from good stock Johan and Kelley Cratty lines via James A.

I will have a wheaton roo (very sweet) and a BLRW roo. I'm trying to get Berkeleysprings to make it to the sale. If he or his sister does then they will have chicks and or eggs of the wheaton roos. I will also have CM pullets and one younger roo. Along with some 3 day old CM and barnyard mixes. Hopefully you will find what you want there.

Hey guys, if it is possible, pair those roos up. They are near impossible to sell solo. ...no matter how nice. They are near impossible to give away too

Pick out a girl you can part with and leave some room for nicer ones this year

Everyone should also pray to the rain gods that the rain doesn't begin until 1:00

I was drenched last time and freezing cold by the time I left the parking lot. The time before that, we had to keep moving the chickens around in the shade of the canopies so they wouldn't faint.

It is a good thing we are a hearty bunch!

BTW - PM me if you are planning on bringing any leghorn pullets.

Tammy
