Provided: phone & bill paid for- 888 number forwarded to you- work from home.
Shop The Coop is looking for some help. This is a winter business. October-December are peak times when customers call. We have not had a strong customer support team, and so this year we are ramping up for a bigger year and to meet the needs of our customers, and donate more money to help animals and chickens in need.
This is a part time position that requires answering the phone when folks call. Hours can be set on the answering 888 line, and also the greeting. All calls will be forwarded to the provided cell phone. Currently, the calls are not being answered, only by em.ail because we are too busy
You will need to have some knowledge on chicken coops, what kinds of heating sources are best for chickens and understand the basics of the products listed on the website.

Start Date- September 15

I will have a dedicated phone to carry with you and you may work the hours that you desire, as long as the phones are being answered during the busiest hours which may change.
You can access the database and will need a computer to track shipments and see if orders have been placed, etc.

Email Resume with experience and chicken knowledge [email protected]
We will be contacting applicants in July and August to begin the hiring process. All resumes will be kept until then.!

Myrian, you should remove your address and phone number from your post - this is a public site and you never know how that information could be used! It's safer to e-mail them your resume as they requested, they may not check back here looking for it.

Good luck!

Dear Employer,

I am currently seeking a position working from home performing customer service/virtual assisting type duties. If you are interested in my qualifications, and a position becomes available that can be filled by someone with my skills, please contact me at the address, phone number, or e-mail address above.

I have a home office equipped with a Dell Inspiron 530 computer, Dell 948 All-In-One printer with scanner, copier, fax, and photo printing. And an assortment of computer software (Microsoft, Word, Excel, WordPerfect Office 12). I also have a high speed internet connection (DSL). And “Skype” for calling other computers and conferencing.

I have worked with a Credit Regional Office in Data Entry/Customer Service and Data Service Co., where I kept financial records and correspondence with dept. staff and customers. Because of this experience, I can make a direct and immediate contribution to your company. I have enclosed a copy of my resume, which details my qualifications and suggest how I might be of service to your company.

The ability to be consistent and dedicated is probably one of the hardest trait s to find when hiring someone, especially when looking for an individual that is capable of working out of their home. I feel that, even though a person has chosen this path, working in your own office is just the same as working outside of the home. It is a job and deserves the same respect, loyalty, attention, devotion, tenacity, drive, determination and dedication; Even more so, because there is not a supervisor there, to make sure the job is done.

I am a task-oriented and responsible, while enjoying what I do, I am analytical and take pride in the field that I have chosen to work in. I am unafraid of challenges or deadlines and I welcome the opportunity to exercise by skills. I enjoy working with others, but can also work with minimal supervision, but welcome the support. Even though I have worked in a few different areas, I enter into a new situation with the intention of learning new ideas, different ways of doing things and staying with a business for as long as I am needed.

Working from home enables me to focus on my job duties in the productive atmosphere of my home office while at the same time cutting down on my travel and costs. If my skills would be considered an asset to your company I would be interested in communicating with you further about possible employment.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Sincerely yours,

Christina A. Scott

I also have “Microsoft Live Office Small Business” which is a great tool for virtual business, sending large files, etc.
