**SEMIFINALS** (sort of) RESULTS!

I have gone through the contest and picked out the promising looking entries, to help make my judging easier at the time.

They are not listed in order, just the order of when they were posted. It is not too late to still enter!

Congrats everyone who's made it to the "semifinals", and good luck for the real thing!

Congrats to the semifinalists!

I have a question about the categories. Was the "funny" category supposed to be based on looks or personality? Because even though my boy has a funny personality, he is far from funny looking, he is a very handsome fella.

Well I don't really know you're chicken's personalities so I guess I will be basing it on the picture, but you can tell a funny story about your chicken and I could judge on that.

name: Oddball
breed: Silver Penciled Wyandotte / EE cross
Gender: Roo
Catagory: prettiest (most handsome)

This is Oddball, Jr. His dad got his name because he was the 'freebie' that we got from MM when we ordered chicks, and was the 'oddball' of the bunch. Junior came to be, when we let our broody Buff Orp. set on a clutch of 'mutt' eggs. When they hatched - out popped Oddball, Jr. He's not a pure-bred, but he is a handsome boy! I hope he qualifies for the contest...!

How do you know he's a roo at that stage? My SLW chicks are three weeks old now and have twice the feathers of that guy, but I still haven't got the foggiest idea what gender they are. They were all sold as pullets, so fingers crossed!

My chicks are also sort of hideous, so no contests for them.
