Wyandotte chicks, Rooster or hens?

We have two Wyandottes, and I have read that their combs tend to get pink early, but I wanted to get some opinions on whether they are pullets, or not. Thank you!

I'm voting pullet! Mine got red pretty early as well! They are our best layers!

My hunch is that both are pullets. Males tend to get large patches of solid color on their shoulders-- but not always. Females should have even lacing on the shoulders, although they, too, can show small patches.

The only thing that is throwing me is the first ones head. It does have a lot of darkish? orange.. and is that point feathers on the neck

I asked the same question about my Wyandotte pullet a few months ago. Her comb got really red early on.

Now she lays lovely pink eggs. I'm voting pullet on your girls.
