I posted when they were 2 weeks old. I was pretty sure I had 1 cockerel at that point but now I am suspicious of both. If they both are I'm going to be very cross and have a talk with my feed store about their polcy and who they order from. Anyway, here is lil dude number 1, the one I'm like 90% sure is a cockerel.
This is number 2. This one I'm not sure about.
I think they're about 4-5 weeks old. I can see tiny waddles developing in both, moreso in number 1 than number 2. I put them outside for the first time today with a young serama pair. The serama cockerel raised his hackles to number 1 and did the dominance dance. Even though number 1 has no hackles and only fluff he stood up chest out and tried to fight back. He backed down pretty quick to the older boy (despite being the same size as a cockerel almost 4 times his age). When the serama raised his hackles to number 2 it didn't even try to fight and just ran and hid.
I've never had wyandottes before so I'm not totally sure. What do you wyandotte experts think?
