After one and a half weeks of doctoring a swollen right eye, it finally scabbed over the eyeball and caused more swelling. Warm compresses and a nice firm tug on the scab produced a large lump of solidified infection attached to the scab. Almost instantly the swelling went down and her eye appears normal under the lid. I tried Neosporin Oint., but she just went crazy scratching at it. I'm going to try saline solution instead. Any advice is appreciated! (I know the pic of her right eye is not very clear. DH is no where to be found to help out.)
