I inherited a Wyandotte 2 yr ago and was told she was 2-3 yr old at the time, which makes her about 5. I have noticed the past 4 mo. she spends a lot of time lying around when all the other chickens are up and around doing chicken things. She has trouble getting up on her feet from a lying position and moves around pretty slow. She still has a good appetite and drinks water, her feet are fine and she doesn't really act sick. She just seems to be uncomfortable in the hips/legs. I am starting to wonder if she is older than I think. Does anyone have any thoughts about what may be going on or if this sounds more like old age and arthritis type stuff?
