We got a BLRW pullet at 4 months old... 3 months later 'she' grew saddle feathers and started crowing. The only clue we had was that her legs were so much larger than the orp we got with her (but I thought it was a breed thing). So, I'd compare to the others in the batch and see how it's maturing. (Our roo had smaller wattles at 4 months than this one does at 2, so I would definitely be suspicious.)

well she came with a very poor show Australorp pullet and they are about the same size but that still doesnt really answer my question.

It looks like probably a roo to me, at 8 weeks a pullet should not have that much red comb and wattle.

that just doesnt seem right though at that age wouldnt a roo have bolder and bigger wattles and crown?

well also she was scared thats why her/hes face is red lemme go get more pics
