I got some barnyard mix eggs from a friend; any thoughts as to what the momma of this lil guy is (photo 1)? The papa is a silver laced wyandotte and the other chicks sure look like wyandottes (see photo 2), however this one chick has a black beak and black legs/ankles w pink toes. Its darker feathermarkings make it stand out too.It also came out of a caramel brown egg, a lil darker than the usual wyandotte egg. I have my ideas but dont want to bias y’all, thanks for the input!!!
