I have this in another post. I posted it as my Wyandotte chickens drinking water. It was meant to just be a cute video, but it raised the question whether or not I was correct in my breed statement. When I bought the chicks I was told that they were Silver Laced Wyandotte, but Now I'm thinking that they could be something else.

Perhaps Columbian Wyandotte or Brahmas?

I think they are light brahmas I have two that make the same random funny cluck when they eat and drink. They are very nice and independent.

Trish I think you are right they have rose combs also.

I appreciate the replies. We were hoping for Silver Laced Wyandotte since that what we thought we bought... but I wouldn't give 'em up for anything! We think they are beautiful and we do love 'em.

I agree with those who said Columbian Wyandottes. Brahmas have pea combs and feathered legs, so that rules them out.

And Silver Laced Wyandottes look like this (only with a rose comb. My girl has a single comb, which is not in the breed standard.)
