Wyandotte or Dominique?

Would you get a Dominique or a SLW? For show and laying purposes! Which one the are botyh beautiful, but it is so hard to pick.

I believe that you will find more people on here are going to say Wyandotte, but with that being said I think that I would pick the Dominique..
What ever you pick if you are going to show them then you will want to find a good breeder and get a American Standard of Perfection and know the breed you are going to get before you get it...

I just hatched out 13 Dominiques from a local breeder. I love the little babies. Her birds are LOVELY, and winter hardy. They have a great temperment. I recommend Dominiques.

I was on the page of a SLW but now I am more in the middle! Who knows I might just go with a Dominique!

If you're getting them from a hatchery - Go with Dominiques. Hatchery Wyandottes will give you quite the varied sizes of eggs (most are small though) will give you varied personalities, most of them being very undfriendly and selfish, and they are no where near as pretty as what you see in pictures.
