Hi guys so im adding 3 more pullets to my little flock of 4 Australorps.
Since I'm in surburbia and don't have a huge backyard and we have young children we wanted to choose the most affectionate, cuddly ,docile breeds. The main purpose is family friendly pets and we'd like good layers. So we had decided on adding a Buff Orpington, light Sussex and a Wyandotte. Now after lots and lots of reading I'm wondering Whether a Plymouth would be more child friendly and chilled out than a Wyandotte? If you could let me know your experience with these two breeds and help me make a final decision that would be great thank you
also to take into consideration they will be confined to the coop and run when we are not home but free ranging the rest of the time and as much as possible. So want breeds that do well with being confined during those times.
