The males have black "scarves" around their necks, while the females' necks are the same pattern as the body. But that only applies to chicks of a certain age, older than these pictured - after they've replaced their baby feathers with the next phase feathers...I read on another thread that Wyandotte male and females are easy to sex because they have different coloring. Does anyone know what the distinguishing features are?
Looks like a girl! I’ve read that wyandotte pullets redden up early. Her comb and wattles are quite red, but very small. And her feather pattern looks female to me.7 weeks old today
