Wyandotte pure mean?

I've had so many breeds of chickens and the most unfriendly breed has been Wyandotte. I have had maybe 5 and I only kept one and she is so mean! Will follow for food but will also attack me. I swear the other day she's was all puffed up wiggling her head back and forth giving me a death stare and then pecked me! So many people love this breed.. what am I missing? I raise chicks and sell ready to lay birds so I bought a few more and am hoping they are nicer but do not expect much

I feel like some breeds just dont work for certain people, its nothing you did.

Ive got leghorns i absolutely love, but some breeds ive sworn off.

I got a neighbors black sexlinks when he decided chickens were not for him, the are the definition of evil. I also have golden comets and amberlinks that are perfectly fine but no more black.

Ive got Midnight Majesty Marans who were mean from day one, but my Cuckoo marans are sweethearts at 3 weeks.

So i just think its a thing about what you can get along with, and not a this breed is evil thing.
