Wow! thanks for all the kind words! They are definitely pretty, but I am trying to develop Orpingtons (blue and lavender) And my boyfriend just picked up a trio of Speckled Sussex (2 roos & 2 hens) I am not sure I can handle a 3rd breed/rooster- these birds are so big they are bullying the little ones.... I do agree though - I was psyched when i thought they were hens! I will probably list them for sale here or trade on more blue or Lav orpingtons!
