Could this guy be a blue Wyandotte? I’m only finding pictures of blue laced red. I bought a mix of Wyandotte eggs. He has the yellow legs and rose comb. some white is starting to come through on his neck though I don’t see any lacing. Also could have been a cross from my lavender Maran and silver laced Wyandotte but he doesn’t seem to have any Maran traits and I thought my Wyandotte wasn’t laying. I don’t have any more yellow legged birds.

Interesting! What do white earlobes tell you? I’ve never noticed that as an identifier.
Classic example is a Brown Leghorn and a Welsummer. They look very similar. One way to tell them apart is by looking at the earlobe color. Welsummer have red and Brown Leghorn have white.
Just one of many factors used to identify chicken breeds. 😊

Mixed breed

I went with Wyandotte because it’s the only hen I had with yellow legs in the breeding coop. This was my first time though so I’m thinking my lockup wasn’t long enough (3weeks) and I had a leghorn outside the run. (With yellow legs and white earlobes). So this was helpful, thank you! Pretty sure he is leghorn x Easter egger.
