Going to be honest! I got 2 from a breeder at 10 weeks. We thought both hens and a month Katerina noticed shiny feathers and saddles feathers growing on one!

I'm going w pullet. I had both a SLW hen and roo purchased a five weeks. The one that turned into a roo had more of a comb even at five weeks compared to the hens flat comb area. Very pretty.
