I feel your pain. I was out there for 4 hours yesterday in sub zero weather. Now we are expecting 20" of snow on Tuesday the day my chicks should be arriving!

Nothing yet, however the snow is melting!! It's taking it's time but you can see grass now! Soon once it's all gone and not as muddy we'll be able to get to building the coop!

Also, my chicks are coming on April 28th!

So the countdown has begun!

Save the raked up leaves! Chickies love scratching thru them - just pile them in your run and sprinkle with scratch, the chickens will do the rest. Our feathered kids love yard work weekends
