a few photos:

A trio of White Wyandotte I purchased from Larry Dye at the Shawnee Oklahoma Show in Dec 2014. They are laying and Im hatching chicks.




And the Columbian Wyandotte pen will be divided into four trio...Three with the Columbian and one with the Blue Columbian. I've set aside 6 cock birds, several in this pen and several in the 11 month old juvenile cockerel pen. There are 13 hens in the holding pen....several of these are of course back-up. They have been selected by type and structure, leg color and combs. A few of these hens still have some feathers to finish growing in after late molt, but the eggs are beginning to increase in number. Two of the roosters have been using the top roost in the small coop and have worn down their longer tail feathers.
Im still building the barn ....
