Wyandottes: To buy or not to buy??

They have gold laced Wyandottes at TSC this week. I'm looking to expand on the breeds in my flock. Is this a good one? How is there temperament? Do they ever go broody? Do they get along usually with other chickens? Those of you who have had them, did you like them overall? Or should I wait to see what they get in later? Please reply about why you chose the answer you did.

I was at my tsc and they had gold laced I had a silver laced in the past and she was so sweet she would follow me and everything I would of got some but they were straight run. I got two hen coming in April.

I have a golden. She's pretty, docile and lays nicely but she has never been broody.
