XP: week old chick and messy bottom

I posted on the Emergencies forum, but I figured I'd XP here as well.

Short story: I'm a new chick mom, hatched 3 myself, but 1 had a harder/longer hatch. They are a mixed flock and hatched from an egg with a heavy bloom. She's had a pasty butt since day 2 and she's very small and boney. She's eating and drinking - I added Save A Chick to her water and have started feeding her scrambled eggs, but I haven't seen her with a normal poo since the day after she hatched. Is she doomed? Is she just a runt?

Help!

Have you not cleaned the pasty butt? What do you mean she’s had it since day two?

Yes, I’ve cleaned her vent, but it keeps pasting up. She’s hasn’t had a normal poop since the day after she hatched.

I have to clean her a couple of time a day
