Y’all, These Eggs Are Huge!

Just look at them! I’m concerned for the ones who lay these... Luckily, they’re not nearly as big as Scarlett’s gigantic double-shelled egg... BUT Scarlett layed two out of the three of these...

:eek: Ha ha, I love when my older girls lay a bigger egg so I can surround it with the tiny eggs from my newly laying pullets thus making the size of each even more noticeable.

As far as I know there really isn’t much you can do to change the size egg being laid, just watch that chicken a little more closely for any problems that may arise from laying such big eggs.

XD that’s just about exactly what I did, except all of mine are pullets at five months...

I definitely will, I don’t want my tamest chicken to have problems...
 
What breed are the one's that laid those big egg's? Different breed's can lay different sized egg's.

A Rhode Island Red layed two of them, there was two big ones (not shown) layed by a White Leghorn, and the last one was layed by (I think?) my Silver Laced Wyandotte...
