Ive been trying to convince my dad to let me get them for 3 years!

HE FINALLY CRACKED! I was the only girl in my entire grade who wore glasses!

i was even known as "weird girl w/ glasses"

... well i guess the weird part was my fault

(i cant help it if im a smidge hyper! )

but anyway... I GOT CONTACTS!!!!!

Congratulations.

As a long time (~20 year) contact wearer, I will give you one piece of advice... Wash your hands well and keep your lenses clean.

Oh yes, I was allowed to get contacts but for 2 years I couldnt get them IN my eye! Finally I have had them for 2 years and they have been pretty good. At least I had cute glasses back then

Definately keep your hands and contacts clean I have gotten numerous eye infections and I now have to use Clear Care a cleaning and disenfecting kit. If your contacts bug you ask your eye doctor about it

CONGRATS!!!

I remember getting my contacts in 9th Grade. I never had problems wearing them so I hope you don't either. Anyway, years passed and I had lasik after being scared of it for a long time. Now I have 15/15 vision 24/7 and I'm thrilled! Save up for lasik so when you're 25 you can see perfect too!
