Yahoo! mail users

I have to retreive all sorts of things, including all my byc mail from the spam folder every week

Most certainly a scam!
[Now what did I do with my Clark Howard "scam alert" button?]

"Be confident about Yahoo!. You can be sure that no Yahoo! employee will ever ask you for your password or personal information in an unsolicited phone call or email message."

Best thing you can do is report it to Yahoo and then ignore it. Try to capture the source info and paste it in the email you are forwarding.

My boss used to get tons of email like that. I told him to stop responding to them saying go away and a few other choice messages, and it eased up. The one thing you don't want to do is let them know they've gotten a live human, because then they sell your email address to even more spammers!

Contact yahoo and forward that onto them. Let them track it and notify their users of the scam.

This is more then likely a fake. I got a email just like that from "Bank of America" asking for my password.

I always get emails from "Bank of American" and other places. It always says my account is going to be closed and so on. Well thats ok since I dont even have an account there in the 1st place.
