yak yak yak, how do I get them to be quiet at night?

How old are they? If well established, have you considered letting them stay out all the time? Just leave the run open so they have access if they want it...
I agree. Mine are never confined. They may need to find there own place at night where they feel safe, comfortable and warm.

The thing about guineas is they are incredibly brave, but not bright. I watched an entire flock run at a fox one day, all but one that ran to the 'humans'. They all died a horrible death one by one. So, I wouldn't put them too far out.

Then you are not 'directing' them if you are having these issues. And are you sure you don't have a wild man causing that issue? You described a human perfectly. =)
Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not having any issues with any predators, my dogs keep em run off, or dead. But I have friends who have had issues with them, had, being the key word there.
