Ya'll know what these are? Cause I don't.....

It takes two copies of the lavender gene to be expressed. There is always a possibility they could carry one copy and it is sight unseen.
It would be rare though. Most breeders don't cross lavender birds with BBS birds since it is hard to keep what's what straight.
Look at a lavender bird and notice how light the color is. If your birds were lavender those splotches would not be near that dark.
My Lavender Orpingtons look like the Blue Orpingtons only much lighter. So I now understand the light and dark splotch thing. Again....I have learned something!

Exactly.
The splotches should be the color of your blues.
The lighter color on your splashes would be pretty close to the color of your lavender.
That's why most don't cross lavenders with the Blue lines. Too hard to tell the splash from the lavender. Especially on chicks. Which is when a lot are sold. You don't want to be selling as one color and them ending up the other.

Well I had wanted more Lavender Orpingtons to breed, so I'm out the Lavender Orpingtons and I'm not interested in breeding these Splash, so they will remain happy egg hens on the farm :love

The rooster looks like a Light Sussex. And Splash birds just two copies of the Blue dilute gene. Blues only have one copy.
Your 'Blues' are actually the ones that look Lavender to me.
