The Yankee Fall Classic Poultry Show in Syracuse, NY has had to change the date of this year's show due to a scheduling conflict at the Fairgrounds. The new date is Sunday October 20th.
The Classic is a show that is co-sponsored by all the Poultry Clubs in New York State. Held annually in the historic Poultry Building at the New York State fairgrounds this is a show you should try to attend. If you haven't shown here before just visiting this fantastic old building almost makes the trip worthwhile. While in Syracuse you can also try some Gianelli Sausage or best of all a Heid's hotdog.
For those traveling a long distance to the show there are a number of motels near the Fairgrounds and the building will be open Saturday afternoon for those that want to coop in early.
Fall shows are the best. the older birds have recovered from the molt and young birds have matured. We always have a large sale section and a number of nice birds are generally donated for the silent auction. In addition there will be a large Chinese Auction & a 50-50 raffle. Try to join us, it should be a great show and a lot of fun.
