But there is a difference between being Dixie and a Redneck. Rednecks come from all over, heck we've even got them in NJ where I was born and raise. Up there the snooty folks call them "white trash". And even then there is a difference between "white trash", "poor white trash" and "trailer trash". Trailer trash being the lowest of low. You can live in a trailer park and not be "trailer trash". "Poor white trash", you couldn't really help your place in society because you were so poor. "White trash" were low-life's who would lay around, collect a check, drinking, fighting. "Trailer trash" were the same way but even worse because they tended to prey on others by stealing and robbing them.


Honestly, I think Dixie is more a state of mind. I was born in NJ but I am not a dam* Yankee. (I was in a sub-catagory, just poor white, lol)
