Do you have artificial light on them? 12 weeks is kind of old to start laying... unless you bought them when they were 8 weeks old...

I bought 6 hens that were 5 weeks old. At 9 weeks the first one started laying. Within a week 2 more started. One more week and 5 were laying. My last one just started laying and she is probably 12-15 weeks old. Once you buy them, put in a box, and transfer to new home they can take up to a month to start laying regardless of their age...

Thanks they have only been in their environment for about 2 weeks as their first habitat wasn't what I wanted. So they are now settled hopefully more eggs soon .
