Yay, eggs at last!

It's been five months since we got the chicks and one of the Orpington girls is giving us an egg a day. She made a nest between and under some hay bales and had eight eggs in there before my wife found them. This morning I didn't let the birds out of their run until 10am and I found an egg in one of the nesting boxes so she is laying in the morning. The eggs are brown and quite small from a big chicken. This is all good fun for us.
