YAY!! Finally finished the inside! (PICS)

Pine shavings are fine inside the coop. i prefer sand in the run area as it is easy to clean that way. The silkies will sleep in a heap on the floor of the coop. Oh and grab up any eggs you find right away..I suspect one the girls has eaten a couple! Maybe provide her a box on the ground with hay/shavings in it? and a couple of golf balls.
Poor dears have been slumming it for too long in the garage and lay eggs anywhere at all

I also was getting a lot of fake "egg songs" and would rush out to find ....nothing. They lay any time of the day they feel like it. if you have any roos in your bunch Mr Velvet may pick on it for a while....actually its best to keep new ones seperate for a while (a week) until they get used to seeing each other, if thats possible.
