YAY!.....First Egg!

I was standing at the patio door and heard (what is very unmistakable "HEY LOOK AT ME") Squawking come from the hen house!

I am sooo proud! One of the girls laid her first egg

(about 10 minutes ago....LOL)

FWIW: The girls will be 21 weeks on Monday and are Golden Sex Link (RIR & RIW cross)

Now the BAD news....We just finished up an antibiotic routine and worming and won't be able to eat the eggs for another 10 days

But the GOOD news is they are all Coccidia free and doing GREAT!

I just had to share......Personally (being the Proud Daddy I am) I think this egg is a very nice size for a first effort!
