I started feeding my peeps by hand the meal worms like so many of you told me. Yes they come running. Out of my 3 peeps, two of them allow me to pick them up with out a noise. They don't mind at all. The Rhode island on the other hand is still terrified! She just wont come around and be loving like the other two. She screams bloody murder??? They are about 4 weeks old now, feathers coming in like crazy. Any ideas what I could try with her? I move slowly all the time around her. You think she'll ever come around? I'm still bringing them in at night, yet they are out all day. I must pick them up in am and pm.

Sounds like you are doing a good job so far. Just keep doing what you are doing. My 12 are 7 weeks old and most are OK with being picked up. 3 really don't like it. 2 prefer that you don't but they are coming around. A couple actually want to be picked up! When we give them treats we pat them to get them used to our hands. At first they were hesitant to eat out of our hands and now they only see food. They will come around.

No kidding, yay mealworms!!!!

They worked great for me too. I agree, just keep doing what you're doing. They'll come around to whatever extent they want to. Some chickens are just not wired for friendliness, in my limited experience. Consistent handling did seem to go a long way with my initially resistant flock. They still don't like to be touched but will now eat from my hand. They like me though and will hang out at my feet, sit on the bench beside me or on my ankle and be completely nosey about whatever I'm doing out there, which lately is a lot!

Best of luck with them!
