Yay! Got my first eggs!

I have a very small flock, 2 hens and a rooster, that's enough for one person. Well, yesterday and today I got my first 2 eggs from my beautiful little girls who will be 24 weeks old tomorrow. I love my chickens......

Nope, no light. I kind of have mixed feelings about using one anyway, why force them to do other than what should happen naturally.

Today, they both laid an egg and I actually got to hear their beautiful "egg song" before and after.


Dang, I sure do love my chickens!
