The "avatar" picture that i have up, that's Mrs B. my Silver Phoenix hen.
She was my first chicken, as you can see she is quite tame.

That picture was taken of her on my daughters bed, she snuck in there and got cozy, lol.
 
Aww! I see now - the avtars are small and I didn't notice at first - but what a sweetie. Must be that you've handled them so much. I plan to spoil mine rotten ... lol. By the way - under your avtar says Missouri? That's where I'll be moving later this summer! My b/f lives there. I'll be kinda near Poplar Bluff (20 miles ne about) if you know where that is.

I handled my birds alot when they were peeps, It makes them alot easier to handle now, that's for sure.

They are so tame, all my friends that come by can't believe what they see, and say they have never seen chickens quite like mine, that you can actually get close to and pet.
 
About chicken training it is posible to train chickens there is a web sitez about it but they are hard to find in searches also a way to learn about chicken training kind of is in the movie racing stripes about the zebra for children in the dvd there are speciall options and in one of the options to watch is about traing the animals which as the trainer for the roosters in the movie Such as the site http://www.nerdbook.com/sophia/chickens.html

on the web site that i gave it also has a video which is really cool to watch (wished the computer im working on had sound)
