Congrats!!! she is cute! what breed? also I would switch out the newspaper in the brooder as it can lead to splayed leg because it gives chicks no traction... What are you setting next?

oh no I actually have three the other two are hatching as I type....I didn't sit that many because this is my first time and I didn't want to mess up with a dozen chicks lol

The breed pure mutt...daddy was supposed to be a SLW and the mother is a BSL buut I think judging by the coloring the daddy was my Naked Neck/EE lol....Really? what if you shred it?....I tried looking everywhere for wood chips and its like looking for gold around here....probably EEs
