Yay have some new baby chicks, one question, how long can they stay in the incubator before they to the brooder with 2 day old chicks?


I posted this one trying to be upbeat compared to my last post, thinking an upbeat post would garner more replies to the most crucial questions than a negative rambling. I was wrong.

congrats!!!

A new chick can stay in the incubator up to 72 hours. Due to absorbing the yoke, they do not need to drink or eat for that time.
