I just found out today that some of our very good friends just got chickens too.

I think it's catching!

We are going on Sat. afternoon to start taking the shed apart. We'll be moving it just a few blocks to our house. (after the wedding of course)​

It really does happen to me a lot.

Life is good!

I haven't had anyone give me a shed yet. But I did get a free garden swing,arbor and 1/2 acre garden with fruit trees and raised garden beds. How sweet that was. You're right it makes up for the days that aren't so sweet!

Thanks! My poor, overworked, put-upon darling husband will do most of the hard labor... which he has pointed out to me several times since I told him about the free shed. I told him I wanted to build the coop myself, but this shed is too big/heavy for me to take down, move and put up alone.

I just hope we can get it put up SOON and the pieces won't sit around forever. That sometimes happens around here because DH is so busy with 10 or 12 projects.

Our new wood flooring sat in the basement for 2 years before we got around to putting it in last month. It is amazing and changes the whole look of our house. The new master bath pedestal sink is still not hooked up (I think we bought it in March).

I'll just have to keep telling him: "the chickies are gonna be here soon and will need a place to live!"

I suppose I could tell him if the coop is not ready they can stay in our bedroom! Or in his shop!

That might really get him goin' to town. He totally freaks out if I suggest there's room in his shop for all the remodeling stuff laying around here.
