*I* technically don't have anything hatching, but I gave some eggs to a girlfriend for her broody. They were set Sunday evening, 3 weeks ago. So, I figure they're supposed to hatch late Sunday, early monday. Two are under the broody still, doing awesome. The third had its' shell crushed by a monster egg yesterday, so we moved it to the incubator. It is alive and wiggling around. Here's a video of the egg. It's kind of cool, and I'm really hoping it hatches.

Interesting! Good thing the membranes haven't been punctured.

Two have hatched and now the 3rd egg has an external pip.


The black one is a MUTT & RIR cross that hatched first and the brown one is RIR. Still no visible external pip on the other two eggs.




EDIT: Neither one "zipped" around the egg. Both rammed a hole at the external pip and fought until the shell split open.
